(USA) Freight Flow Associate

Position Summary

Operates forklifts and completes work assignments following company policies and procedures.

What you'll do...

• Operates forklifts safely and follows company standards and guidelines.
• Completes work assignments and priorities by collaborating with managers, coworkers, customers, and other business partners.
• Provides member service by acknowledging members, identifying needs, and assisting with purchasing decisions.
• Maintains safety of the facility by conducting safety sweeps and following procedures for handling hazardous materials.
• Maintains the sales floor and merchandising presentation by stocking and rotating merchandise and ensuring proper display of promotional and seasonal merchandise.
• Handles moves and displays goods safely and correctly, tracking goods and maintaining inventory levels.
• Ensures club pick-up orders are filled by assisting with picking and staging merchandise.
• Respects individuals by embracing differences, fostering a culture of belonging, and supporting associates' growth and development.
• Acts with integrity by maintaining high standards of ethics and compliance, demonstrating courage and resilience, and supporting Walmart's regenerative goals.
• Serves customers and members by delivering results, balancing short and long-term priorities, and considering the impact of work on team performance.

• Manages equipment and ensures products are organized and stocked correctly, promptly fixing any problems.

• Reports poor inventory practices and low inventory levels, and performs occasional audits for accuracy.
• Proactively identifies and engages customers needing help, assisting them with technology services and items.
• Identifies shrink opportunities and problems, taking steps to fix them.
• Models and helps others with technology services.

Minimum Qualifications

• 90 days of prior experience with Forklift Certification.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Preferred Qualifications

• Customer Service Experience.
• Retail Experience.
• Supervising a team.

Pay Range

The hourly wage range for this position is $19.00 to $27.00*

The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location.

Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances.

Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed.

Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
