(USA) Freight Flow Associate

Position Summary

Operates forklifts and completes work assignments following company policies and procedures.

What you'll do...

• Operates forklifts safely and follows company standards and guidelines.
• Completes work assignments by collaborating with managers, coworkers, customers, and other business partners.
• Provides member service by acknowledging members, identifying needs, and assisting with purchases and issues.
• Maintains safety by conducting safety sweeps, following forklift spotting procedures, and handling hazardous materials.
• Maintains the sales floor by stocking, rotating, and displaying merchandise, and ensuring proper inventory management.
• Handles merchandise moves and displays goods safely and correctly, tracking inventory levels and controlling shrinkage.
• Operates and maintains forklifts in a safe manner, reporting poor or unsafe conditions to management.
• Proactively identifies and assists customers with technology services, and models and helps others with technology services.
• Identifies and addresses shrink opportunities and problems, taking steps to fix them.
• Maintains and organizes merchandise and supplies, ensuring proper inventory flow and following company policy.
• Ensures club pick-up orders are filled by assisting with picking and staging merchandise, and performing occasional audits for accuracy.
• Handles defective merchandise according to company and regulatory policies and procedures.
• Ensures the area is secure and monitors for shrink risks.
• Handles inventory by tracking goods, maintaining inventory levels, and controlling shrinkage.
• Reports poor inventory practices and low inventory levels in assigned areas.
• Uses inventory tools and equipment in a safe and correct manner.
• Operates and maintains forklifts in a safe and correct manner.
• Tells management when forklifts are not in proper working order.

Minimum Qualifications

• 90 days of prior experience with Forklift Certification.
• Ability to safely utilize pallet jacks.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Preferred Qualifications

• Customer Service Experience.
• Retail Experience.
• Supervising a team.
