(USA) Freight Flow Associate

Position Summary

Operates forklifts and completes work assignments by following company policies and procedures.

What you'll do...

• Operates forklifts safely and complies with company standards.
• Pick up, move, place, and position merchandise and supplies.
• Organize merchandise and supplies from distribution centers and suppliers.
• Provide member service by acknowledging members, identifying needs, and assisting with purchases and issues.
• Maintain safety by conducting safety sweeps and following procedures for handling hazardous materials.
• Manage inventory flow, maintain stock levels, and control shrinkage.
• Operate and maintain forklifts in a safe manner.
• Proactively identify and assist customers with technology services.
• Identify and resolve shrink opportunities and problems.
• Handle moves and displays goods safely and correctly.
• Use inventory tools and equipment in a safe manner.
• Assist with picking club pick-up orders, ensuring accuracy and timely completion.
• Ensure merchandise is displayed and organized according to company policies.
• Report poor inventory practices and low stock levels.
• Proactively identify and resolve issues related to products, services, and work areas.
• Act with integrity by maintaining high standards of ethics and compliance, supporting the Walmart values, and fostering a culture of belonging.
• Serve customers and members by delivering results, balancing short and long-term priorities, and considering the impact on team performance.

Minimum Qualifications

• 90 days of prior experience with Forklift Certification.
• Ability to safely utilize pallet jacks.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Preferred Qualifications

• Customer Service Experience.
• Retail Experience.
• Supervising a team.
