Position Summary

Operates forklifts and completes work assignments following company policies and procedures.

What you'll do...

• Operates forklifts safely and follows company standards and guidelines.
• Picks up, moves, and positions merchandise and supplies.
• Completes work assignments and collaborates with managers and coworkers.
• Provides member service by acknowledging members, identifying needs, and assisting with purchases and issues.
• Maintains safety by conducting safety sweeps, following forklift spotting procedures, and handling hazardous materials.
• Maintains the sales floor and merchandising presentation according to company policies.
• Handles moves and displays goods safely and correctly, tracks goods, and maintains inventory levels.
• Ensures club pick-up orders are filled and performs occasional audits for accuracy.
• Operates and maintains forklifts safely and reports poor or unsafe conditions.
• Proactively identifies and assists customers with technology services.
• Identifies and addresses shrink opportunities and problems.
• Maintains and organizes merchandise and ensures proper stocking and display.
• Processes defective merchandise and monitors for shrinkage risks and safety.
• Handles inventory moves and displays goods safely and correctly, tracking levels and controlling shrinkage.
• Reports poor inventory practices and low inventory levels.
• Uses inventory tools and equipment safely and correctly.
• Forklift Operator: Operates and maintains forklifts safely and reports issues.
• Technology: Proactively identifies and assists customers with technology services.

Minimum Qualifications

• 90 days of prior experience with Forklift Certification.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Preferred Qualifications

• Customer Service Experience.
• Retail Experience.
• Supervising a team.

Pay

The hourly wage range for this position is $19.00 to $27.00* The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
