About the role

The role involves leading and developing teams effectively by teaching, training, and actively listening to associates. The position requires managing and driving the financial performance and sales of the designated store area, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures, and fostering a culture of respect and excellence.

What you'll do

  • Tourstores and provide feedback to associates, communicating and collaborating with all levels of associates regarding store operations.
  • Utilize technology, business initiatives, merchandising, and company direction to introduce and lead company change efforts.
  • Provide clear expectations and guidance to implement business solutions and communicate business objectives to teams effectively.
  • Model and demonstrate exceptional customer service standards by following and demonstrating the One Best Way (OBW) service model.
  • Manage and support customer service initiatives such as store of the community and community outreach programs.
  • Ensure customer needs, complaints, and issues are successfully resolved by developing and implementing action plans to correct deficiencies and providing process improvement leadership.
  • Drive the financial performance and sales of the designated store area by reviewing and evaluating Profit & Loss (PL) statements, managing and assisting in budgeting, forecasting, and controlling expenses, and developing and implementing action plans to mitigate shrink and ensure sales and profit goals are achieved.
  • Supervise and develop opportunities for hourly associates by hiring, training, mentoring, assigning duties, setting clear expectations, providing associate recognition, and promoting a belonging mindset in the workplace.
  • Coordinate, complete, and oversee job-related activities and assignments by developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, supporting plans and initiatives to meet customer and business needs, and identifying and communicating goals and objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures by implementing related action plans, utilizing and supporting the Open Door Policy, and providing direction and guidance on applying these in executing business processes and practices.

Pay

The annual salary range for this position is $65,000.00 - $100,000.00. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) (based on location) and Complex Structure (based on external factors that create challenges).

Minimum Qualifications

  • 2 years' of college;
  • 1 year's retail experience and 1 year's supervisory experience;
  • 2 years' general work experience and 1 year's supervisory experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University;
  • Certificate of Completion in People and Business Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University;
  • General work experience supervising 5 or more direct reports to include the responsibility of performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing.
