USA - Engineering Project Manager I

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage complex engineering and product development projects from planning through completion.
• Cook up cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and other business functions.
• Develop project plans, schedules, milestones, and ensure projects stay on track.
• Manage project budgets, including capital expenditures (CapEx) and overall project costs.
• Identify technical issues and develop effective solutions with minimal supervision.
• Supervise project team members and ensure successful collaboration across departments.
• Communicate project status, risks, and progress to stakeholders and leadership.
• Apply engineering knowledge and best practices to support project success.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
• 8-10 years of engineering or engineering project management experience.
• 2-5 years of experience leading teams in a matrix (cross-functional) organization.
• Experience managing engineering or product development projects.
• Strong project planning, budgeting, and cost management skills.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

PREFERRED SKILLS

• Experience leading New Product Development (NPD) or Product Development projects.
• Strong stakeholder and cross-functional team management experience.
• Knowledge of multiple engineering disciplines.
• Experience working in a fast-paced engineering environment.
