USA_Electro Mechanical Technician
Responsibilities
- Aid in the development and execution of preventative maintenance plans on lab equipment.
- Perform various electrical and mechanical tests, recording and archiving data and findings.
- Assist in designing, updating, building, and troubleshooting test infrastructure and fixtures.
- Maintain and perform specified tests on HVAC components.
- Carry out tests using bespoke test equipment and assist in setting up, programming, and running tests on mechanical parts.
- Complete test reports and perform safety inspections.
- Maintain safety inspection results and complete preventative maintenance requirements.
- Troubleshoot malfunctions and assist in devising, fabricating, and assembling test equipment or test samples.
- Take detailed measurements and observations, conveying them clearly.
Requirements
- Problem-solving skills and ability to work within a team.
- Good interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Basic computer skills, such as word processing, data entry, and email.
- Understanding of equipment and lab safety requirements.
- Ability to assist all levels of engineers with tasks and assignments.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- CAD experience.
- LabView experience.
- Experience reading 2D drawings and specifications.
- Knowledge of electrical and electronics concepts.
- Mechanical experience in assembling testing equipment.
- Experience in a lab environment collecting data with mechanical test equipment like torque drivers, micrometers, calipers, and multimeters.
- Commercial HVAC knowledge and familiarity.
Work Environment
The position requires working onsite from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm with no travel involved. The role involves using tools and debugging with mechanical equipment. Fieldglass is used for timekeeping. The work environment is a mechanical test lab where safety and compliance with equipment and lab requirements are paramount.

Pay And Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $30.00/hr.
