(USA) Cake Decorator

Position Summary

As a Cake Decorator you will drive member service in your area to deliver to our members more of what they love, for less. You will work collaboratively with other associates to ensure the total club meets the member’s expectations.

Responsibilities

• Team Member: Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, educate associates on tools, tasks and resources, communicate effectively, maintain in‑stock levels, and control shrinkage.
• Expert: Plan bakery production, ensure consistency in quality and accuracy of decorative designs, follow recipe measurements, work with decorating bags, tips and nozzles to create flowers and lettering, adhere to food safety, sanitation, cold‑chain compliance, and inventory management; operate, maintain and sanitize equipment.
• Techie: Leverage digital tools and handheld technology to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and make real‑time production, merchandise ordering, training and product‑quality decisions; adapt to new tools and encourage associate adoption.
• Owner: Drive bakery performance by ensuring quality and date‑control standards, eliminating waste, preparing for seasonal events (holidays, graduations, family events), identifying member needs, assisting with purchasing decisions, and resolving member issues.
• Talent Ambassador: Serve as a brand advocate, model high‑quality service and products, understand associate roadblocks, assist in training, develop, influence and inspire a respectful, supportive, team‑oriented environment.
• Compliance & Integrity: Follow company policies, procedures and ethical standards; use the Open Door Policy to implement action plans; maintain the highest standards of integrity, ethics and compliance; act humbly, self‑aware, honest, fair and transparent.

Minimum Qualifications

• 6 months experience in a fresh production area.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in cake decorating.

Pay

The hourly wage range for this position is $19.00 to $27.00. Additional premiums of $0.35 to $3.00 per hour may be paid based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed.
