Lead and develop a team in a fast-paced logistics environment, ensuring operational goals, safety standards, and productivity targets are met or exceeded.

Responsibilities

  • Communicate with individuals or groups (customers, suppliers, associates) verbally and in writing.
  • Implement the business plan for your area by setting goals, managing staffing, scheduling, and assigning duties to achieve facility objectives (production, quality, safety).
  • Monitor and manage productivity by preparing, reviewing, and analyzing business reports.
  • Maintain quality and safety standards by ensuring associates are trained on Logistics and company policies, monitoring compliance, and distributing procedures and documentation.
  • Identify and resolve associate, customer, or supplier concerns by listening, consulting with others, and determining corrective actions or recommendations.
  • Supervise and develop associates and leaders by assigning duties, monitoring performance, providing feedback, teaching policies, identifying training needs, and participating in hiring, promotions, coaching, and evaluations.
  • Build high-performing teams by embracing differences in people, cultures, ideas, and experiences to create an inclusive workplace where associates feel seen, supported, and connected.
  • Work collaboratively, build trusting relationships, and communicate with impact to motivate and influence others.
  • Attract, retain, and develop talent while recognizing contributions and accomplishments.
  • Maintain and promote integrity, ethics, and compliance, modeling Walmart values and holding others accountable.
  • Support Walmart’s goal of becoming a regenerative company by making a positive impact for associates, customers, and communities (e.g., creating belonging, eliminating waste, participating in local giving).
  • Deliver results while prioritizing the customer, adapting to shopping behaviors, and applying EDLP (Every Day Low Price) and EDLC (Every Day Low Cost) business models.
  • Make data-driven decisions, balancing short- and long-term priorities while considering stakeholders (customers, associates, shareholders, suppliers, communities).
  • Drive continuous improvement by displaying curiosity, taking calculated risks, encouraging learning from mistakes, and adopting new technologies and skills.

Requirements

  • Associate's Degree in Business, Logistics, or related field and 1 year of supervisory experience OR
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Logistics, or related field OR
  • 1 year of Walmart Logistics Management experience OR
  • 2 years of Walmart Logistics experience OR
  • 2 years of supervisory experience.
  • Ability to attend and successfully complete all job-required trainings and assessments (e.g., Academy trainings, Open Door trainings).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Experience supervising associates.
  • Walmart Logistics Manager experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business or Logistics.

Pay

The annual salary range for this position is $65,500–$98,000. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance incentives. Certain positions may also qualify for:

  • Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) adjustments based on location.
  • Sales Volume Category (SVC) adjustments based on facility sales volume.
  • Complex Structure adjustments for roles facing external challenges.
  • Academy Premium Pay for roles in stores with Academies.
