US - Sr Engineering Program Manager

About the role

Our client, a leading aerospace and defense technology organization, is seeking a Sr Engineering Program Manager to join their team. You will be part of the Engineering team supporting Operations, Maintenance, HFC, and cross-functional site leadership. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent organizational and communication abilities, and the capability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, which will align successfully within the organization.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, budgeting, and execution of capital projects and site improvement initiatives.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to support capital equipment planning, new product integration, and facility readiness.
• Develop project scopes, schedules, budgets, and resource plans while monitoring project progress and mitigating risks.
• Manage equipment sourcing, vendor evaluations, procurement activities, and supplier coordination.
• Present project updates, cost analyses, and performance metrics to site leadership while ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of project management experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or engineering environment.
• Experience leading capital projects, equipment procurement, and vendor negotiations.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Knowledge of budgeting, cost control, and continuous improvement methodologies (Lean/Six Sigma preferred).
