About the role
The US Retail Demand Planning Specialist is responsible for developing and maintaining the US Retail demand to support the monthly S&D cycle by analyzing sales, inventory, and production. This role serves as a key liaison between Supply Chain and various cross-functional teams such as Sales, Brand, Manufacturing, and Product Planning to ensure demand signals are accurately reflected in operational and leadership decisions.
Responsibilities
- Generate and maintain retail demand forecasts (sales/production) to support the monthly S&D cycle
- Analyze sales, orders, inventory, and market trends to develop recommendations for responsible vehicles
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align demand, supply, and business objectives
- Support ad hoc what-if scenario planning and executive reporting processes
- Leverage data analytics to improve forecast accuracy and business performance
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Strong communication skills with the ability to develop consensus across multiple cross-functional groups
Qualifications (Preferred)
- Experience in supply chain management, demand and production planning, purchasing, sales and marketing, finance, or production control
- Master's Degree OR Bachelor's degree with focus areas in Business, Supply Chain Management, Marketing, Purchasing, Finance, Operations Management or related field
- Experience working with monthly S&D or S&OP processes
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify planning inconsistencies or risk
