Retail Optimization Specialist

Duties And Responsibilities

• Work directly with the State Sales Director to provide trend analysis and insights that improve the performance of the retail network.
• Create and define comprehensive retailer strategies, collaborating with Director-level positions to align on long-term commercial goals.
• Create and maintain reports that review retailer, game, and geographical performance to spot opportunities for the ASL sales team.
• Identify opportunities and build robust business plans for "sell-in" and approval; lead the executional strategy to deliver desired outputs.
• Serve as a bridge between the Lottery and the AR Bally’s Intralot site team, ensuring all stakeholders are updated on goals, objectives, and touchpoints.
• Run, filter, and clean data to ensure all strategic recommendations are based on accurate, high-quality information.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree.
• Experience: 3+ years of relevant experience in retail optimization, data analysis, or commercial strategy.
• Technical Proficiency: Intermediate to advanced skills in Excel and SQL/SQLite for querying databases. Proficiency with modern BI platforms (e.g., Tableau) and familiarity with cloud-based data structures. Experience with AI-driven analytics and modern workflow management tools to increase operational velocity.
• Analytical Skills: Strong ability to collect, organize, and disseminate significant amounts of information with high attention to detail.
• Communication: Exceptional communication skills with the ability to influence executive leadership and foster a collaborative partnership with the lottery.

Qualifications

• Retail Optimization Specialist Must possess valid documentation for U.S. employment eligibility.
• Must pass a thorough pre-employment background check by Bally’s Intralot and required State Lotteries.
• Pre-employment drug screening is required.
