Johnson & Johnson is recruiting for a Senior Financial Analyst to support the US Commercial Power Tools team. Preferred locations include New Jersey (Raritan, Titusville), Raynham, MA, Palm Beach Gardens, FL, or West Chester, PA.

Johnson & Johnson has announced plans to separate its Orthopaedics business into a standalone company, DePuy Synthes. The separation is expected to be completed within 18 to 24 months, subject to regulatory approvals and other conditions. If you accept this position, you may transition to DePuy Synthes following the transaction, with employment governed by its policies and benefit plans.

About the Role

The Senior Financial Analyst will serve as a business partner to the US Power Tools Commercial team, providing critical financial insights and influencing business decisions. The role involves executive-level communication regarding financial results and proactive support for business objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Lead business partners through revenue and expense forecasting cycles, evaluating internal and external risks and market drivers.
  • Provide detailed analysis and executive communication regarding business results and financial drivers.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams (selling, demand planning, marketing, pricing, etc.) to identify risks and opportunities, driving business awareness and decisions.
  • Support monthly sales reporting, price/volume/mix analysis, revenue SOX compliance, month-end/quarter-close activities, BVA support, and gross profit analysis.
  • Assist in system transitions and drive operational improvements for high-visibility projects.
  • Collaborate with the global marketing team to evaluate financial considerations, scenario assumptions, and business impacts.
  • Challenge business assumptions, develop alternative scenarios, and educate partners on financial concepts.
  • Provide financial leadership by improving the value of financial information for upper management and guiding business partners.
  • Opportunities to support and lead other Enabling Technologies within Orthopedics.

Requirements

  • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree; Accounting or Finance major preferred.
  • CPA, MBA, CMA, or related certification is preferred.
  • Minimum of three years of finance, business, or related leadership experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with advanced Excel and presentation skills.
  • Collaborative and inquisitive style for working with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to apply data and analytics to influence executive decision-making.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with various management levels and external customers.
  • Up to 10% domestic travel may be required.

Pay

The anticipated base pay range for this position is $79,000–$127,650.
