About the role

Join Barclays as the US Payroll Manager VP, where you'll have the chance to lead and elevate a high-performing payroll organization supporting colleagues across the US, Canada, and Brazil. You’ll guide teams in delivering an accurate, timely, compliant, and resilient payroll service that consistently meets the highest operational standards. In this role, you’ll shape and oversee payroll processes to deliver compensation spanning base pay, incentive programs, global mobility, and business-travel-related taxation. You’ll drive excellence across all payment processes while championing innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Leading end-to-end payroll activities and managing dispersed teams in large, multi-faceted organizations, preferably within financial services (11,000 colleagues on payroll)
  • Managing global payroll ecosystems, platforms, and related integrations – specifically, ADP EV6, WFN and Smart Compliance, Workday HCM, Time, Absence & Payroll modules, to streamline operations, improve data accuracy and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements across organizational structures
  • Overseeing payroll legislation, tax, financial, and regulatory controls; governance; risk management; and HR policy, including IRS/CRA requirements and other key payroll submissions

Pay

Minimum Salary: $110,000
Maximum Salary: $190,000
