Responsibilities

• Greet every customer promptly and be alert to all customer needs.
• Answer inquiries about price, quality, fabric type, specifications, and usability of merchandise.
• Upsell customers and recommend add‑on items to enhance orders.
• Set up advertising displays, fold signage, and arrange merchandise to promote sales.
• Replenish merchandise and monitor floor stock to ensure appropriate inventory.
• Maintain a clean and orderly store through housekeeping tasks.
• Complete all paperwork accurately and efficiently.
• Provide information regarding contract specifications and related products.
• Handle irate customers in a professional, courteous manner.
• Assist with product questions and provide information over the phone.
• Communicate and collaborate within and outside the retail department to meet customer needs with 100 % accuracy.
• Adhere to the company’s mission, policies, procedures, and practices.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Friendly, outgoing, and helpful demeanor.
• Previous retail or customer service experience is a plus (training provided).
• Ability to work with minimal supervision in high‑pressure situations.
• Ability to stand for the entire shift.
• Ability to handle merchandise up to 50 pounds.
• Flexibility to work varied shift hours, 7 days a week.

Starting rate: $17.75 per hour.
