US Online Coding Teacher 2026 - Must reside in North Dakota

The role

Our teachers are positive and energetic individuals, who come from a range of backgrounds and experience levels, but the one thing they have in common is they are all passionate about teaching. Lessons last 60 minutes and all lesson plans are provided, created by our internal team. This is a contractor position.

Responsibilities

• Encourage students to collaborate with each other
• Be creative with lessons
• Help shape the thinkers of tomorrow

Requirements

• Are infectiously enthusiastic, ready to inspire children
• Have an interest in technology and coding
• Are technologically proficient
• Able to break down complicated subjects into easy to understand concepts
• Adequate availability for evening and/or weekend hours
• Available 5-15 hours a week
• Currently live in North Dakota
• Must be at least 18 years old

Qualifications

• Coding knowledge or a computer science qualification (desirable but not essential)
• Special educational needs and disability experience (desirable but not essential)
• Teaching qualification / experience within classroom setting (desirable but not essential)
• Knowledge of lesson delivery (desirable but not essential)
• Online tutoring / teaching experience (desirable but not essential)
• Enhanced Background checked (required)

You can earn up to $22.00 - $24.00 an hour

Interview Process

• Video Interview - 3 video questions (9 minutes or less)
• Final Interview/Trial Lesson with members of the Coco Coders team (30 minutes in Google Meet)
