Online Coding Teacher Remote 2026 , Part-Time (Must reside in US)

About the role

Coco Coders is an online coding school for children ages 6–14. We inspire kids to learn the language of the future through creatively themed online coding lessons using our STEM.org certified computing curriculum. Students learn core coding principles and how to apply them to real-world settings.

Responsibilities

• Infectiously enthusiastic and ready to inspire children
• Have an interest in technology and coding
• Be technologically proficient
• Be confident working with children ages 6–14
• Break down complicated subjects into easy-to-understand concepts
• Be adaptable and able to think on your feet
• Currently live in the United States
• Be available 5–20 hours per week

Requirements

• You should apply if you:

• Are adaptable and able to think on your feet
• Currently live in the United States

Nice to have (not required)

• Coding knowledge or a computer science qualification
• Special educational needs and disability (SEND) experience
• Teaching qualification and/or classroom experience
• Knowledge of lesson delivery
• Online tutoring/teaching experience

Interview Process

1. Video Interview — 3 video questions (9 minutes or less)
2. Final Interview / Trial Lesson — 30 minutes with members of the Coco Coders team (Google Meet)
