About the role

This position provides strategic leadership of the Accounting Services team (Lease Accounting, Project Costing, Travel & Expense, Franchise and Equity Revenue, Payroll, Accounts Payable, and Tax Compliance) in execution of deliverables, ensuring they are met with a high degree of accuracy, in a timely fashion, and aligned with customer expectations.

This leadership role drives growth in efficiency of processes, service offerings, and development of team members. Accountable for executional excellence of key deliverables, ensuring compliance with YUM, accounting, and SOX standards.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrates strong leadership in delivering effective coaching and development for members of the Accounting Services team (3 direct/10-15 indirect) to promote high performance and growth of associates.
  • Builds strong relationships with Brand financial leaders, customers, and colleagues to demonstrate effective partnership and provide leadership in areas impacting Accounting Services.
  • Identifies strategic growth opportunities for expansion of service offerings globally.
  • Provides thought leadership in identifying and implementing improvements and new technology to facilitate continuous growth in Accounting Services processes.
  • Leads people and financial resources effectively, ensuring service commitments are met within budgeted guidelines.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of related accounting experience, including leadership of large, functionally diverse teams.
  • Innovative thought process with demonstrated success in driving improvement.
  • Proven ability to develop strong relationships with team, customers, and colleagues.
  • Highly effective and professional communication style within all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively, influencing others to achieve results.
  • Demonstrated strong work ethic and integrity.

Preferred Qualifications

  • CPA designation or advanced degree strongly preferred.

Pay

Salary range: $125,200 to $147,200 annually + bonus eligibility. The final pay will consider the successful candidate’s location, experience, and other job-related factors.
