About the role
A motivated Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant is sought to join a collaborative outpatient urology practice.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive urologic care for adult patients, utilizing advanced procedures such as robotic surgery, minimally invasive techniques, and in-office treatments.
- Collaborate with board-certified urologists and a multidisciplinary team.
- Develop procedural skills and enhance patient outcomes through innovative technologies like telehealth and electronic check-ins.
Requirements
General
- Active NY State license and registration as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
Physician Assistant candidates
- Bachelor’s degree.
- NY-approved training.
- NCCPA certification.
- Ambulatory care experience.
Nurse Practitioner candidates
- Graduation from an acceptable Nurse Practitioner program.
- Current certification (AANPCB or ANCC).
- Pharmacology coursework.
- Preferred three years of nursing experience plus one year as a Nurse Practitioner.
