Urology Clinic LPN

About the role

Department: Urology Clinic. Employment Type: Full-time. Location: St. Joseph Medical Center, Kansas City, MO. We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Urology Clinic team. In this outpatient role, the LPN works closely with physicians, providers, and clinical staff to support high-quality, patient-centered care. This is an excellent opportunity for an LPN who enjoys building relationships with patients, working collaboratively with a clinical team, and providing care in a physician-practice environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care in an outpatient urology clinic.
• Prepare patients for examinations, treatments, and office-based procedures.
• Obtain and document vital signs, medical histories, medications, and other clinical information.
• Administer medications and treatments within the LPN scope of practice.
• Assist providers with procedures, specimen collection, patient education, and follow-up care.
• Maintain accurate electronic medical records while collaborating with providers and clinical staff to ensure safe, efficient patient care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school for Licensed Practical Nursing
• Current State LPN license
• Current BLS certification upon hire and maintained
• One year of experience as an LPN, preferred

Schedule

Shifts Available: Day Shift. Hours: 8-hour shifts, 7:30 am to 4:30 pm (Monday through Friday).
