Aeroflow Urology specializes in incontinence products—such as diapers, underpads, and catheter supplies—shipped directly to over 100,000 patients monthly nationwide. The Urology Billing team handles denied insurance claims, provides medical documentation to carriers, addresses audits, and more.
Responsibilities
- Perform analytical work on denied claims
- Research insurance payer requirements
- Solve problems and find innovative solutions
- Prioritize multiple responsibilities
- Make and receive calls with a professional demeanor
- Understand reimbursement policies
- Use technology comfortably
- Monitor reports to identify trends, concerns, or areas for improvement
- Discuss findings with potential reporting to management
- Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and policies (a condition of employment and element of job performance)
- Maintain HIPAA/patient confidentiality
- Regular and reliable attendance as assigned by schedule
- Perform other assigned duties
Requirements
- 2 years of recent work history
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university (any field) – desired
- Prior work experience in healthcare or health insurance – desired

Onboarding Timeline
First 30 days: Training on:
- 4 major internal programs
- Basic and complex strategies for resolving insurance claim denials
- Key metrics and KPIs
- Compliance rules and regulations
Training combines modules with one-on-one sessions with supervisors and billers.
After 30–45 days: Responsibilities include:
- Working an assigned billing report independently
- Answering phone calls independently
- Attending and contributing to meetings, including:
- Frequent one-on-one prioritization and Q&A sessions with supervisor
- Weekly all-team meetings with Urology Billing members
- Bi-monthly meetings with relevant support teams as needed
Expect 25% of time spent collaborating and 75% working independently.
