About the role
The position offers competitive salary with incentives based on productivity. Henry Ford Health is an academic institution with teaching and research opportunities at its main hospital in Detroit and 30 outpatient centers. You will work as a member of the Department of Urology, Vattikuti Urology Institute, alongside colleagues in 40 specialties and share patients via the electronic medical record.
Responsibilities
- See patients primarily at Henry Ford Lakeside Medical Center and Henry Ford Macomb Hospital
- Perform a robust surgical practice based at these centers
- Responsible for clinical activity within the realm of general urology
- Work 4.5 days of clinical activity each week with 0.5 days reserved for academic/administrative time
Requirements
- MD/DO (or equivalent degree) who is board eligible/certified by the American Board of Urology
- Demonstrated commitment to excellence in teaching and patient care
Qualifications
- Completion of an ACGME accredited Urology residency
Skills
Experience in general urology conditions, including Men’s health, is preferred – fellowship not required.
