Urologist

About the role

As our Urologist Physician, you will join our growing practice at Baylor St. Luke's Medical Group in Lufkin, TX. You will play a pivotal role in the success and development of our urology practice. Every day you will provide comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis and treatment for a full spectrum of urologic conditions in both an inpatient and outpatient setting. You will provide office-based and operative interventions to improve urinary, prostate, kidney and bladder health.

To be successful in this role, you will be a BC/BE Urologist Physician with a passion for helping patients, strong clinical skills, and a commitment to providing high-quality comprehensive care within a busy community-focused practice.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis and treatment for a full spectrum of urologic conditions in both inpatient and outpatient settings
• Deliver office-based and operative interventions to improve urinary, prostate, kidney and bladder health
• Operate within a balanced inpatient and outpatient practice with strong clinical support
• Utilize state-of-the-art urology equipment, including a full cystoscopy suite and in-office urodynamics
• Work with dedicated surgical and diagnostic staff
• Participate in a manageable 1:3 call schedule across 2 hospitals
• Leverage Da Vinci Xi and DV5 robotic systems for surgical procedures
• Benefit from an in-house referral system and large primary care referral base
• Document care using Epic EMR

Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Urology
• Active or eligible license in the state of Texas, or ability to obtain prior to employment
• Completion of ACGME Residency and Fellowship
• American Board Certification and active BLS

Pay

$461,435 - $680,572 /year
