About the role
Join United Health Services (UHS), a community-based, physician-led, not-for-profit healthcare system in New York’s Southern Tier, as a Urologist in an established service line with significant demand, modern facilities, and two da Vinci robotic systems (Xi and DV5).
- Predictable operating room access: one full robotic block plus one general/elective block weekly, plus shared overflow block.
- Integrated Epic electronic health record and Dragon Ambient eXperience (DAX) for ambient documentation.
- Collaborate with a seasoned team of advanced practice providers and nurses.
- Flexible scheduling, including four-day clinical workweeks (36 patient-facing hours + 4 administrative hours weekly).
- Optional academic involvement.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive urology care, including subspecialty services in endourology, urologic oncology, andrology, and robotic/minimally invasive surgery.
- Leverage two da Vinci platforms (Xi and DV5), 24/7 anesthesia coverage, APP surgical assistance, and robust postoperative support.
- Shared call with employed providers; target 1 weekday night per week and 1 weekend per month once fully staffed (stipend eligible).
Requirements
- Board-certified or board-eligible Urologist.
- New York medical license or eligibility.
Pay
$600,000 – $900,000 base with wRVU incentives; salary review at 2 years (or 3 years for visa-sponsored hires). Additional incentives considered case-by-case, including retention bonuses, loan repayment, and relocation assistance.
