Urologic Oncology Faculty
About the role
The position is to start ASAP. Help build a brand‑new urologic oncology clinic at the Troy Center for Specialty Care, scheduled to open in 2027. Join a nationally recognized academic urology department with more than 50 faculty members, researchers, and physician leaders. Enjoy a balanced clinical model with approximately 50% outpatient urologic oncology clinic and 50% procedure or operating‑room‑based care. Provide comprehensive care for prostate, bladder, kidney, and testicular cancers, with emphasis on early detection, minimally invasive evaluation, and cancer survivorship. Work in a modern, dedicated procedure and cystoscopy suite with access to flexible and rigid cystoscopy, bladder biopsy and fulguration, transperineal prostate biopsy, and other minor urologic oncology procedures. Benefit from University of Michigan Health clinical infrastructure, including imaging, magnetic resonance imaging‑fusion capabilities, pathology, biomarker testing, and multidisciplinary oncology care. Focus on clinical practice with no research, resident, or student teaching requirements at the Troy site. Candidates may be fellowship‑trained in urologic oncology, but fellowship training is not required; general urologists with strong oncologic interest will be considered. Receive a faculty appointment commensurate with experience and a comprehensive benefits package through University of Michigan.
