About the role

We are seeking an Advanced Practice Provider to join our Urogynecology team. This position provides specialized care for women with pelvic floor disorders, including urinary incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse, voiding dysfunction, recurrent urinary tract infections, and other urogynecologic conditions.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with pelvic floor and lower urinary tract disorders.
  • Perform comprehensive histories and physical examinations.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans utilizing evidence-based practices.
  • Coordinate care across specialties and healthcare settings.
  • Order, interpret, and communicate diagnostic testing results.
  • Prescribe medications and treatments in accordance with state and federal regulations and organizational policies.
  • Provide patient and family education regarding diagnoses, treatment options, procedures, and preventative care.
  • Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as appropriate.
  • Serve as a clinical resource for patients, families, and healthcare team members.
  • Participate in some call rotation, providing telephone consultation, triage, patient guidance, and coordination of care for urgent urogynecologic concerns within the APP scope of practice.
  • Provide inpatient rounding services, collaborating with physicians to ensure continuity of care for hospitalized patients.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
  • Current licensure and certification as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) or Physician Assistant (PA).
  • Current DEA registration and prescriptive authority as applicable.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner (WHNP) or Physician Assistant certification.
  • Prior experience in Women’s Health, Urogynecology, Urology, Gynecology, or related specialty.
  • Experience caring for patients with pelvic floor disorders, urinary incontinence, or prolapse.
  • Procedural experience and/or willingness to develop specialty-specific skills.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of applicable Advanced Practice Provider experience.
  • Master's Degree in Nurse Practitioner or related field.

Schedule

Monday-Friday, 4x10-hour shifts with one day off during the week. No weekend and no holiday obligations.
