Role Overview
A Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant specializing in Urology, delivering advanced patient care in outpatient and inpatient settings.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform histories, physical exams, and urologic procedures within credentialing scope.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Manage pre- and post-operative patient care.
- Educate patients and their families about conditions and treatments.
- Collaborate with faculty, residents, and interdisciplinary teams.
- Support clinical research and quality improvement initiatives.
- Contribute to teaching within a research-driven, student-centered environment.
Qualifications & Skills
- Current Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant licensure and credentials in Urology.
- Experience in outpatient and inpatient urologic care preferred.
- Strong collaboration, communication, and patient education skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
