Responsibilities
- Under the direction of leadership, provide competent direct patient care based on established standards.
- Contribute to unit activities and support enhancements of the care delivery system at the unit level.
- Affirmatively support peers in the delivery of patient care services and assume expanded roles such as charge nurse, preceptor, and committee member responsibilities.
- Perform a variety of tasks including telephone triage of patient phone calls, consulting with care providers, giving medications and injections as ordered, obtaining vital signs of patients, obtaining and recording medical, surgical, and family histories, allergies, and current medications, and documenting symptoms or concerns.
- Must be a team player, proficient in using electronic medical records, and willing to be flexible.
- Experience in women’s health and ambulatory settings is preferred.
- Requires an active New York State RN license in good standing.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of RN experience is necessary.

The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this job.
