About the role

We are hiring multiple Manufacturing Specialists with on-the-job training provided. Prior manufacturing experience is helpful but not required. Interviews are available daily, including this Saturday, August 29th.

Schedule

Shifts available at the Camas location:

  • A Shift: Sunday-Tuesday/BI-Wednesday 5:00 AM – 5:15 PM
  • B Shift: Sunday-Tuesday/BI-Wednesday 5:00 PM – 5:15 AM
  • C Shift: Thursday-Saturday/BI-Wednesday 5:00 AM – 5:15 PM
  • D Shift: Thursday-Saturday/BI-Wednesday 5:00 PM – 5:15 AM

Shift differentials are paid at an additional 10% for hours worked between 5:30 PM and 12:00 AM, and 15% for hours worked between 12:00 AM and 5:30 AM.

Responsibilities

  • Learn and perform electromechanical assembly operations
  • Operate test equipment
  • Use manual and electronic tools for mechanical and optical assembly
  • Enter production data into a computer-based system
  • Contribute as a valued team member
  • Perform various production tasks, which may include working in a clean room environment, wearing clean room garments, using a microscope, handling solvents, and working with tools
  • Engage in production activities according to documented work instructions and standards
  • Identify and report any irregularities not compliant with work instructions
  • Ensure work is completed safely and complies with all safety standards
  • Check equipment regularly to ensure normal operating activity
  • Engage in basic troubleshooting

Employees use a variety of hand tools, soldering tools, laser tools, and custom-built equipment for assembly and testing.

Pay

  • Manufacturing Specialist I: starts at $19.20 per hour
  • Manufacturing Specialist II: starts at $20.35 per hour
  • Manufacturing Specialist III: starts at $21.57 per hour
  • Manufacturing Specialist IV: starts at $22.93 per hour

Additional compensation includes a target cash bonus with potential payout of up to 2% of earned wages.

Working Conditions

  • Fine motor skills, manual dexterity, and a steady hand are essential for handling small parts and tools
  • Visual acuity (sharpness, depth perception, color differentiation, peripheral awareness) required for inspection and assembly tasks
  • Stability and balance needed to maneuver items between stations safely
