Urgent Needed - Spryker Specialist (PHP/Backend Engineer) || Lisle, IL (Hybrid) 4 Days/ Week onsite at client location) ||

About the role

We are seeking a hands-on PHP/Spryker Specialist to build and maintain the transaction engine and integration backbone of a B2B eCommerce platform. You will be embedded within the Core Commerce and Business Integrations workstreams, shipping production backend code on Spryker Cloud Commerce OS every sprint.

Key Responsibilities

• Translate complex B2B business logic into scalable, resilient backend services
• Design and build API/integration layers connecting the platform to ERP, OMS, and Dealer Management Systems (CDK, Procede, SAP, Karmak)
• Implement Spryker state machines for order-to-cash and returns workflows
• Build REST/GraphQL API middleware
• Design PostgreSQL/MySQL schemas for B2B data models — tiered pricing, account hierarchies, core-charge ledgers
• Conduct deep, high-quality code reviews
• Write, test, and ship production-grade code each sprint

Required Skills

• Expert-level PHP
• Hands-on experience with Spryker Cloud Commerce OS
• Strong Redis and Elasticsearch experience
• CI/CD pipeline experience (Azure Pipelines or GitHub Actions)
• Docker and Kubernetes proficiency
• Experience integrating with ERP/OMS/DMS platforms (CDK, Procede, SAP, Karmak a plus)
• Demonstrated proficiency using AI-augmented development tools (GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, or equivalent)

Work Arrangement

Onsite 4 days/week at client location in Lisle, IL. Local or willing-to-relocate candidates preferred.
