About the role

The Salesforce Product Owner will be a critical member of the Center of Excellence in the Customer Experience organization. This role collaborates with the Salesforce Product Manager, other Salesforce Product Owners, technical Product Owners, and the Salesforce Agile team to define and deliver on the strategic roadmap. The Product Owner manages epics, documents user stories, and collaborates with other Salesforce Product Owners to prioritize the backlog and evaluate current processes to create solutions that meet business needs, goals, and objectives.

Responsibilities

• Maintains deep knowledge of Salesforce CRM and technical capabilities, participating in technical integration and product features discussions.
• Executes on Salesforce product strategy and roadmap as determined by the Salesforce Product Manager, business leaders, stakeholders, and user groups.
• Contributes to roadmap development and assists with requirements gathering on epics, documenting story details.
• Proposes solutions to stated business problems, assesses alternative solutions, and identifies gaps based on Salesforce knowledge.
• Translates and conveys the overall business vision into technical requirements and tactics for development.
• Collaborates with key stakeholders, user groups, and management to gather and prioritize complex requirements, providing recommendations as appropriate.
• Works with the Salesforce Product Manager and other Product Owners to determine backlog priorities and ensure stakeholder alignment throughout the development lifecycle.
• Provides subject matter expertise to clarify development requirements.
• Leverages data to influence and measure adoption strategy, ensuring deliverables, ROI, and key objectives are met.
• Complies with all state, federal, and company policies and procedures.
• Remains current with industry and profession trends.
• Performs other duties as required.

Requirements

• 4-year Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience (4 years of experience in lieu of a degree).
• 3–5+ years of experience in Business Analysis, Project Management, or a product-related role within a development team.
• Salesforce experience in any industry; financial services knowledge is a plus.
• SAFe experience preferred.
• Salesforce Certified Admin certification preferred.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen (USC) or Green Card (GC) holder.
• Consultants from Insurance, Financial, and Banking sectors only.

Schedule

• 6+ months contract.
• Remote position.
• Immediate start preferred.
