About the role

We are seeking an Oracle OCI Cloud Architect to lead Oracle Cloud Infrastructure migration activities, hybrid cloud integration, and cloud operations. The candidate will design, implement, and support OCI solutions while maintaining integration between existing on-premises Oracle environments and cloud services.

Responsibilities

• Lead Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) architecture design and migration activities.
• Develop migration strategies from on-premises Oracle platforms to OCI.
• Perform database and application migrations using:
  • Oracle Zero Downtime Migration (ZDM)
  • Oracle Data Pump
  • Oracle GoldenGate
• Configure and manage Oracle OCI services.
• Support Oracle Autonomous Database deployments:
  • Serverless
  • Dedicated environments
• Design hybrid connectivity between on-premises systems and OCI.
• Support OCI security configuration, identity management, and access controls.
• Monitor OCI performance, availability, and operational health.
• Support cloud optimization and scalability activities.
• Collaborate with database, middleware, and security teams.
• Develop cloud migration documentation and knowledge-transfer materials.

Requirements

• Experience designing and implementing Oracle Cloud Infrastructure solutions.
• Experience migrating Oracle databases/applications to OCI.
• Experience with OCI networking, security, and cloud architecture.
• Experience with Oracle Autonomous Database.
• Experience with Oracle migration tools.
• Active Oracle Certified Professional (OCP).
• Active Tier 4 High-Risk Public Trust clearance.
• U.S. Citizenship.

Preferred Qualifications

• OCI Architect certification.
• Oracle GoldenGate experience.
• Oracle Zero Downtime Migration experience.
• Experience supporting Federal cloud environments.
• Experience with hybrid cloud architectures.
