Responsibilities
- Create business requirement documents covering functional and non-functional requirements, based on information gathered through workshops and interviews with client stakeholders.
- Review, propose, and develop solution architecture, ensuring application design aligns with the proposed framework and is scalable, reliable, and maintainable.
- Assess and recommend suitable technologies, tools, and platforms for implementation as part of architectural design to meet business requirements.
- Review technical solutions and develop strategies for integration with different technologies and systems to ensure seamless communication and data flow.
- Resolve complex technical challenges during build, deployment, and support phases while promoting reusable frameworks and artifacts.
- Provide specialized insights to the development team and build collaborative relationships with clients and internal teams to secure successful project execution.
- Identify potential risks in the system landscape, monitor system performance, and suggest optimization initiatives aligned with business requirements and long-term objectives.
- Establish and uphold a comprehensive knowledge base to ensure vital information is systematically recorded and readily available.
- Contribute to proposals and RFPs by delivering insights related to architectural solutions for successful project delivery.

Requirements
- Experience in Cloud Integration and API Management.
- Experience in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) architecture and delivery.
- Hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) covering IAM, VCN and hybrid networking, compute, block and object storage, database services (including Exadata database service and autonomous database), vault (KMS), cost management, and monitoring/logging.
- Oracle database administration experience across Oracle 12c, 19c, and Oracle Database 26ai, including performance tuning, RMAN backup and recovery, and data guard for high availability and disaster recovery.
- Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) DBA experience on R12.1.3 and R12.2.x, including EBS cloning, patching, upgrades, and lifecycle management across development, testing, staging, disaster recovery, and production environments.
- Proven experience designing and operating cross-region disaster recovery on OCI for mission-critical Oracle workloads, with clearly defined RPO and RTO targets and periodic DR testing.
- Hands-on experience with Ansible playbook development, role design, and orchestration via Semaphore or AWX for large enterprise fleets.
- Experience with Terraform for infrastructure as code, primarily on OCI (Resource manager stacks, state management, module design); familiarity with Terraform on AWS is a plus for cross-cloud IaC delivery patterns.
Preferred Qualifications
- OCI Architect Professional certification is strongly preferred.
- OCI Security and Network Professional certification is a plus.
- Working knowledge of AWS core services (EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, RDS) is a plus, particularly for multi-cloud architecture discussions, cost and architecture comparisons, and enterprise clients operating hybrid OCI + AWS landscapes.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted operations tooling and integration (e.g., Model Context Protocol servers or comparable Gen-AI-driven operational assistants) is a strong plus.
- Linux system administration on Oracle Linux (OL6, OL7, OL8) and Windows Server administration, including systemd services, package management (yum/dnf), user and access management, and cron/scheduled task hardening.
- Programming and scripting experience in Python 3.x, shell (bash), SQL, and PL/SQL for automation and operational tooling.
- Working knowledge of security and compliance in OCI including Cloud Guard, Data Safe, Vault key rotation, Bastion service, and audit log retention and SIEM integration.
- Experience with OCI cost optimization, Universal Credits management, and reporting to client finance and IT leadership.
- Prior experience delivering to manufacturing, supply chain, or industrial clients is preferred.
- Ability to communicate complex cloud and infrastructure solutions to diverse audiences including client CIO, business SMEs, and technical delivery teams.
- Experience leading a team of engineers across delivery and operations is preferred.
- Experience and desire to work in a global delivery environment across onshore, nearshore, and offshore teams.
- Hands-on experience with Oracle Exadata database service on OCI and autonomous database (ADB Serverless and ADB Dedicated), including provisioning, patching, scaling, backup, and integration with EBS and analytics workloads.
- Experience deploying and administering Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC) – data modeling, dataset preparation, dashboards, self-service analytics, and integration with Autonomous Database or on-premises Oracle sources.
- Familiarity with OCI Generative AI services and integration patterns – using OCI GenAI, Generative AI Agents, and embeddings for enterprise search, operational assistants, and Gen-AI-driven automation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
