URGENT HIRING: Per Diem Infusion Nurse / Registered Nurse / RN

Responsibilities

• Administer IV infusions, medications, and therapies accurately while adhering to aseptic techniques and safety protocols.
• Perform and maintain vascular access, including IV insertion and care management.
• Conduct thorough patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and physiological evaluations to determine appropriate care plans.
• Monitor patients’ responses to treatments, managing acute pain and providing timely interventions as necessary.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop individualized care plans for diverse patient populations, including those in hospice, oncology, memory care, or behavioral health settings.
• Educate patients and their families on treatment procedures, medication administration, and post-care instructions to promote understanding and adherence.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice (South Carolina or Georgia).
• Minimum of 1 year of clinical nursing experience (home health RN with IV experience preferred).
• Experience in IV therapy and vascular access required.
• Background as an oncology RN is a strong plus.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Current TB test (Negative or Non Reactive).
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
• Experience working with diverse patient populations across various settings including emergency room, medical-surgical units, outpatient clinics, or home care environments.
• Proficiency in advanced nursing procedures such as IV insertion, medication administration via injection, and ventilator management.
