About the role
Responsible for providing medical care to animals in urgent situations. May include emergency surgeries, vaccinations, and routine check-ups. Works closely with animal owners to ensure their pets receive the best possible care.
Responsibilities
- Treatment of sick and injured animals
- Performing surgical procedures under anesthesia
- Administering medications and treatments
- Assisting with animal boarding and grooming services
- Communicating with animal owners about treatment plans and progress
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in veterinary medicine
- Current license to practice veterinary medicine
- Experience in emergency and critical care
- Strong interpersonal skills
Qualifications
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good physical stamina and manual dexterity
Skills
- Proficient in using veterinary software
- Knowledge of animal behavior and nutrition
- Effective communication and customer service skills
