About the role

Our urgent care clinic is seeking an experienced veterinarian to provide compassionate and timely care to our animal patients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in emergency medicine and be comfortable handling a variety of cases.

Responsibilities

• Treatment and management of acute and chronic medical conditions
• Performing diagnostic tests and interpreting results
• Administering medications and treatments
• Assisting with surgical procedures
• Providing preventive care and vaccinations
• Communicating with clients about their pet's health and treatment plan

Requirements

• A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an AVMA-accredited institution
• Current license to practice veterinary medicine in the state of [State]
• At least 2 years of experience in emergency or critical care
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Qualifications

• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
