About the role

Our urgent care clinic is seeking an experienced veterinarian to provide medical care to a variety of animals. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and the ability to work well under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Treat a wide range of animal patients, including dogs, cats, birds, and small mammals.
• Perform routine check-ups, vaccinations, and treatments as needed.
• Diagnose and treat illnesses and injuries, using diagnostic tools and medications as necessary.
• Collaborate with veterinary technicians and other staff members to ensure smooth patient care.
• Keep detailed records of patient visits and treatments.

Requirements

• A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an AVMA-accredited institution.
• Current license to practice veterinary medicine in your state.
• At least 2 years of experience in a clinical setting.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of animal anatomy and physiology.
• Experience with common veterinary procedures and medications.
• Good problem-solving and decision-making skills.
