About the role

At AcutePet Urgent Care, we're building a new kind of veterinary urgent care - and it starts with Registered Technicians who are respected for the knowledge, skill, and clinical judgment they bring to the table. We have been making a difference in Beavercreek and are looking for additional Registered Veterinary Technicians who are ready to practice at the top of their license in a role built on trust and autonomy.

Responsibilities

  • Place IVs
  • Run diagnostics
  • Maintain anesthesia monitoring
  • Assist with procedures
  • Provide direct, hands-on patient care

Requirements

  • Active veterinary technician license (RVT) as required by the State of Ohio
  • Previous experience in an urgent care or emergency setting preferred, but not required
  • Confidence in performing technical skills such as IV catheter placement, diagnostics, anesthesia monitoring, and patient triage
  • Strong communication and critical thinking skills
  • A calm, positive demeanor and commitment to teamwork
  • Availability for evening or weekend shifts as needed

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Completion of a veterinary technician program
  • Current active RVT license in the State of Ohio

Skills

  • Technical skills (IV catheter placement, diagnostics, anesthesia monitoring)
