Urgent Care Physician (MD/DO)

About the role

We are seeking a Physician with urgent care or emergency room experience to join our welcoming and diverse community of San Francisco providers. We consider fulltime, part-time, or per diem (PRN) schedules.

Responsibilities

• Treatment of acute episodic conditions such as sore throats, colds, flu-like symptoms, cuts, sprains and minor infections.
• Recognize and manage more serious conditions, directing patients to the emergency room when necessary.
• Provide a wide variety of clinical services.
• Perform minor procedures such as sutures, casts, splints, and preliminary reads on EKGs and X-rays.
• Deliver an unparalleled patient experience.

Requirements

• One year of fulltime experience in an Urgent Care or Emergency Medicine setting preferred.
• Experience treating both pediatric and adult patient populations (all ages) required.
• Comfortable with minor procedures and preliminary reads on EKGs and X-rays.
• Board Certified/Eligible in Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or Internal Medicine/Pediatrics.

Qualifications

• Medical degree from an accredited institution.
• Current license to practice medicine in the state(s) where you will be working.
• Passing score on the Medical Licensing Exam (MME).
