Urgent Care Physician - Locums Coverage

About the role

We are seeking a locum tenens physician for an urgent care facility. The position involves managing acute and chronic cases for patients aged 3 months and older.

Responsibilities

• See 35-40 patients daily
• Perform suturing of minor lacerations
• Perform incision and drainage (I&D) procedures
• Patient assessment and documentation
• Collaborate with the healthcare team

Requirements

• Relevant medical training and experience in urgent care procedures

• Ability to handle a high-volume patient load
• Proficiency in performing minor procedures

Schedule

Typical schedule of 8 shifts per month, potentially changing to 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM, Monday through Friday.

Pay

Compensation ranges from $130.00 to $155.00 hourly, including malpractice insurance.
