Urgent Care Physician

About the Role

Join a national wound physician group offering clinical satisfaction, autonomy, flexibility, and work-life balance. This part-time position in Minneapolis, MN involves providing bedside wound care in skilled nursing facilities and long-term acute care hospitals. No nights, no call, and no weekend clinical responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Become an expert in wound management through training from highly qualified wound-certified physician trainers and Fellowship Directors.
• Utilize cutting-edge clinical technologies and the latest wound care modalities.
• Provide bedside wound care in post-acute care settings, including skilled nursing facilities and long-term acute care hospitals.
• Conduct weekly wound rounds at each facility.
• Visit 2-3 facilities per day, treating approximately 20-30 patients daily within a 40–60 mile radius of the practice location.
• Complete clinical documentation in real-time during rounds using a proprietary wound-specific EMR.

Requirements

• Active unrestricted medical license (MD/DO) in the state you wish to practice (Minnesota).
• Minimum commitment of 3 weekdays per week for part-time roles.
• W2 employment contract (no work visa sponsorship available).

Schedule

• Full-time: Monday–Friday (7 AM–4 PM), 4–5 days per week, ~45 hours weekly.
• Part-time: Minimum of 3 days per week (same hours).
• No call or weekend clinical responsibilities.

Training & Development

• Paid training during onboarding.
• 6-month wound care fellowship to build expertise in wound management.

Pay

W2 full-time physicians earn on average $300,000 per year.
