Urgent Care Physician

About the role

Join a national wound physician group providing bedside wound care in over 3,200 facilities across 28 states. This part-time position offers clinical satisfaction, autonomy, flexibility, and work-life balance with no nights, no call, and no weekend clinical responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Deliver modern wound management at the bedside in post-acute care settings: Skilled Nursing Facilities and Long-Term Acute Care Hospitals
• Conduct weekly wound rounds at each facility
• Visit 2-3 facilities per day, treating approximately 20-30 patients per day
• Perform clinical documentation at point of care, in real-time during clinical rounds, using proprietary wound-specific EMR
• Become an expert in wound management, learning from highly qualified wound certified physician trainers and Fellowship Directors
• Utilize cutting-edge clinical technologies and the latest wound care modalities

Requirements

• Active unrestricted medical license (MD/DO) in the state you wish to practice
• Minimum commitment of 3 weekdays per week

Qualifications

• Part-time role requires a minimum of 3 days per week
• Full-time role requires 4–5 days per week
• This is a mobile practice: physicians visit facilities within a 40–60 mile radius of practice location
• No work visa sponsorship is available

Training

• Paid training provided during onboarding plus a 6-month wound care fellowship
• Physician-level wound management training and a wound fellowship giving all knowledge and expertise for clinical excellence

Pay

• W2 full-time physicians earn on average $300,000 per year plus benefits
• W2 employment contract

Schedule

• Part-time: minimum 3 weekdays per week
• Full-time: Monday–Friday (7am–4pm) or part-time available
• No call / No weekend clinical responsibilities
• Routinely a 45-hour work week for full-time positions
