Responsibilities
- Provide evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment for a variety of acute illness and injuries.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests including labs, EKGs, and X-rays.
- Perform common urgent care procedures:
- Laceration repair (suturing/stapling)
- Incision and drainage
- Splinting and basic orthopedic care
- Foreign body removal
- Wound care and dressing changes

Qualifications
- A Board-Certified/Board Eligible Family Medicine, Urgent Care, or Emergency Medicine Physician.
- To be DOT certified.
- To conduct pre-employment, return-to-work, and DOT physicals (DOT certification required or expected).
- To evaluate and treat work-related injuries in compliance with OSHA and workers’ compensation guidelines.
- To perform and oversee drug and alcohol testing, including adherence to chain-of-custody procedures.
