About the role
The physician associate will provide occupational medicine and urgent care services during day shifts at on-site clinic locations managing 20-25 patients per day.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat work-related injuries and acute conditions
- Provide approximately 90% occupational medicine cases and 10% urgent care
- Manage a caseload of 20-25 patients per day
- Utilize prescriptive authority
Requirements
- Board certification required, negotiable
- Prescriptive authority required
- No call responsibilities
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Physician Associate Studies from an ACGME-accredited program
- Current license to practice as a Physician Associate in New Mexico
- Experience in both occupational medicine and urgent care settings
Skills

- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
