About the role

The physician associate will provide occupational medicine and urgent care services during day shifts at on-site clinic locations managing 20-25 patients per day.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and treat work-related injuries and acute conditions
  • Provide approximately 90% occupational medicine cases and 10% urgent care
  • Manage a caseload of 20-25 patients per day
  • Utilize prescriptive authority

Requirements

  • Board certification required, negotiable
  • Prescriptive authority required
  • No call responsibilities

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Physician Associate Studies from an ACGME-accredited program
  • Current license to practice as a Physician Associate in New Mexico
  • Experience in both occupational medicine and urgent care settings

Skills
