Urgent Care Physician Associate

Responsibilities

• Assess and treat walk-in patients with acute illnesses and minor injuries
• Perform focused exams and procedures
• Order and interpret labs and imaging
• Manage prescriptions under collaborative practice agreements
• Collaborate with supervising physicians and clinical staff
• Document in the EHR and provide patient education
• Develop follow-up plans to ensure quality care

Qualifications & Skills

• Experience as a Physician Associate, preferably in urgent care
• Strong clinical assessment and procedural skills
• Ability to interpret labs and imaging
• Effective communication and patient education skills
• Knowledge of electronic health records
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
