About the role

Promotes a professional patient-centered practice image while performing history, physical examinations, diagnoses, therapeutic treatment regimens as required, interprets lab results all under the supervision and directions of a practicing physician. Utilizes a team-based approach to all tasks.

Qualifications

• Required: Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program and accredited Nurse Practitioner Program
• Required: Current NC license
• Required: ACLS and PALS or BCLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) within three months of employment date
• Preferred: Family or Specialty Nurse Practitioner Certification

Experience

• Required: Proficiency in basic aspects of the job within three months of employment date (training and on-the-job experience provided)
• Preferred: Two or more years of experience in practice area
