Responsibilities

  • Work collaboratively with physicians and assist in a multidisciplinary practice for the treatment of emergency-related diagnoses.
  • Perform essential and urgent patient care functions.
  • Assist in the clinical processes of Urgent Care.
  • Assist in the evaluation and management of Urgent Care patients in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare professionals to determine health status, intervention, and referrals.
  • Conduct comprehensive health assessments and demonstrate a high level of autonomy in the diagnosis and treatment of actual and potential health problems.
  • Maintain the standards of medical support services and implement the policies and procedures of our hospitals, departments, facilities, units, and clinics served.
  • Assists in the identification of trends related to patients and participates in quality improvement activities.
  • Help guide the development and implementation of structure, process, and outcomes standards.
  • May complete unit/department specific duties as outlined in department documents.
  • Evaluate current research and apply findings clinically, as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

This position is very active and requires ambulating, reaching, and moving objects weighing up to and over 20 lbs. This role also routinely comes into contact with patients who may have contagious illnesses.

Qualifications

  • Master of Science in Nursing degree.
  • Missouri Board of Nursing RN or Nurse Licensure Compact multi-state RN.
  • Must be granted a “Document of Recognition” from the Missouri Board of Nursing.

Pay

Salary Range: $108,971 - $177,590.40 annually

Schedule

Shift 8:00 am – 8:00 pm 7 days per week
