Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner (NP)

We are seeking an Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide locum tenens support in an outpatient urgent care setting.

Responsibilities

• Manage episodic same-day visits, including fractures, suturing, X-rays, and toenail removals
• Handle higher acuity cases as needed
• Conduct in-person, video, and telephone visits with a typical duration of 20 minutes per patient
• See 3 patients per hour

Requirements

• Active California license
• Experience in urgent care or higher acuity settings
• ER experience is a plus

Schedule

• 40 hours per week
• 12:00 PM to 10:30 PM
• Every other weekend
