About the role
This facility is seeking an Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for locum tenens support to fill a current need. The clinic is busy and fast‑paced with a daily patient volume of 30‑60 patients. Providers will see patients of all ages and handle typical urgent care procedures. Credentialing takes approximately 45‑60 days. The assignment is located in San Antonio, Texas, a city known for its rich cultural heritage, mission churches, Mexican cuisine, and vibrant entertainment scene.
Responsibilities
- See patients of all ages in an urgent care setting.
- Manage a daily patient volume of 30‑60 individuals.
- Perform typical urgent care procedures and cases.
- Maintain a fast‑paced, busy clinic workflow.
Requirements
- Current Texas license.
- Active DEA registration.
- Board certification in the relevant specialty.
- Minimum of three years of recent urgent care experience.
- Must be local to the San Antonio area.

Pay
$72.75 – $78.75 per hour.
Schedule
- Monday – Friday: 8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.
- Saturday: 8:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.
- Sunday: 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
