Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner - Locums Coverage

Responsibilities

• Deliver urgent care services during day shifts, working three 12-hour shifts per week at various locations in Georgia.
• Assess and treat acute cases such as minor injuries, illnesses, sutures, and splinting, supporting efficient patient flow.
• Collaborate with physicians, medical assistants, and nurses to ensure quality care delivery.
• Maintain prescriptive authority and manage a caseload of approximately 3 patients per hour.

Qualifications & Skills

• Eligibility for prescriptive authority.
• Board certification is negotiable.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Experience in urgent care or similar settings is preferred.
